If I could choose any animal to grace my family's coat of arms, it would be this trunktacled elephant/octopus hybrid (which we will refer to as the cthulhuphant), created by Puerto Rican artist Alexis Diaz.
The mural, which was unveiled in London this week on Hanbury Street off Brick Lane, took one week and thousands of brush strokes to complete. Close up photographs over at Street Art News reveal the minute detail on this piece. It's outstanding:
