Tracy Widdess' Brutal Knitting is a series of creepy and colorful hand-knit masks inspired by science fiction and horror. They're perfect for wearing on face or placing on a spike as a warning to other monsters.
Knit Culture Studio in Los Angeles is hosting a Brutal Knitting gallery show July 7th-September 5th where folks will be able to visit the masks in person. If you can't attend the show, you can see more of Widdess' monstrous designs on her Tumblr, or buy a few through her Etsy store.

These are AWESOME! So glad to see knitting enter the scifi world - for a while its been pretty prevalent in steampunk, but aside from that earflap hat in "Firefly" I hadn't seen anything.
