Here it is — the first beautiful glimpse of the space utopia from Neill Blomkamp's next movie, Elysium. Over at the Elysium Comic-Con booth, a plastic space real estate agent is selling off plots of land in the future space station of the same name. A Sunrise Terrace on Elysium starts in the "low" $250,000,000s. Behind a creepy Johnny Cab-like creation is a collection of beautiful pictures, showing off the circular station. Take a look at the floating haven for the future super-rich in Blomkamp's new movie below.
For those of you unaware, here's a short run-down of the movie:
Set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy lives on a man-made space station while the rest of population reside on a ruined Earth, a man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.
The booth also directs folks to www.itsbetteruphere.com, which leads to this old Armadyne ad, showing off mad scientists running wacky experiments inside sterile labs. More to come when we see the panel this Friday!
