Hunger Games the little post-apocalypse book series that turned into a very big deal — and an even bigger movie deal — is taking a page from the Twilight franchise. Even though there are three books, there will be four movies, because there's no way in hell the studios are going to let the child-murder gravy train dry up. So the third book will be split into two movies. How will this even work?
Where do you think they will divide the books? We're betting they split the third book right after Peeta returns, and before Suzanne Collins throws the other love interest, Gale, under the bus. One thing that's nice about this change is it gives the screenwriters a chance to make an actual ending — as opposed to the two-page finale: "Then we got married and had kids. THE END."
Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theaters on Nov. 21, 2014 and Mockingjay Part 2 will be released a YEAR LATER on Nov. 20, 2015 (Catching Fire will premiere on Nov. 22, 2013).
