The ladies featured in Jeffrey M. de Guzman's steampunk portraits don't need special powers to fly. After all, their alternate history has already devised that most coveted of technological devices: the jetpack.
De Guzman is a concept artist who does work for the Singapore arm of Industrial Light and Magic. These digitally rendered steampunk paintings imagine a league of superheroines who patrol the skies. Love the mechanical wings on the "Golden Bee" and the leather helmets both his jetpack-sporting ladies. Could we please see an entire crew of these folks?
