This amazing Dune art project is the mind-blower. Artist Marco Casagrande created a 148-foot-long sandworm on the Belgian coastline, entirely out of willow branches. You can practically see the little teeth preparing to devour everyone in sight. Whatever spice they eat in Belgium must flow!
According to Yahoo, the "Sandworm" art installation is part of the Beaufort04 project. It sits among the dunes of the Wenduine coastline in Belgium, and is designed to be "weak architecture" — which means it will eventually become part of nature through flexibility and "organic presence."
