It's hard to believe the director of Watchmen and Sucker Punch didn't craft this post-apocalyptic S&M fetishwear superhero ad campaign. This is the Snyder aesthetic, dumbed down and turned into a mass retail campaign. With a weird 1960s cartoon "WHAM!" on top, just so you know it's actually campy.

Pop singer Jessie J looks practically roofied, as she stares at the camera with glassy eyes and lets her slutty "mock fishnet" stockings do the work of knocking over innocent people in the dystopian cityscape. (All of the ad copy about this poster talks about how it "empowers girls," incidentally.) Final proof that the Snyder superhero glamor has become old hat? You be the judge. [via The Fashion Fiend]

Update: Here's a behind the scenes video.
