Check out this amazing statue of a dinosaur made out of LEGO. This guy is 8.5 feet tall, and made out of 62,500 individual LEGO pieces. The amount of detail and coloring is pretty phenomenal.

The dinosaur is on display at the Autodesk Gallery in San Francisco. And according to Autodesk:

LEGO used a combination of 3D modeling and its own proprietary software before constructing piece-by-piece virtual versions of the large-scale creations. By constructing digital prototypes of its exhibits, LEGO can assess ideas for structural feasibility, create realistic construction schematics, and move easily into fabrication.
