The trades are reporting that Community producers/directors Joe and Anthony Russo are reportedly in "final negotiations" to direct Captain America 2 for Marvel.

According to our earlier interview with Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, this next movie will be all about Steve's journey in the modern world. He's going to stay with S.H.I.E.L.D., for now.

Chris Evans was also quoted telling the foreign press these details about his characters future, "I think they're going to try and push it in the direction of a political thriller. It picks up where we leave off with The Avengers. And Captain Rogers goes back to working for S.H.I.E.L.D. That's all he knows. He understands the military, he understands serving his country, so he goes back to serving his country with S.H.I.E.L.D. But we've got some good new characters in there. I probably can't tell you too much more or I'll get in trouble."

Great news for people who like to see Community's creators succeeding, post-Dan Harmon. Let's hope they find a way to slip Magnitude in there somehow.
