Benicio Del Toro Channels Han Solo For Wolf Man

The new Mezco figurine for Joe Johnston's The Wolf Man looks like it's channeling our favorite Star Wars anti-hero. Even though it's a little Han-esque I'm still much more excited for a werewolf revival after the vampire craze that's been sweeping the nation. Especially since Benicio Del Toro is playing wolfie - that actor commits better than any other. With Benicio layering on the prosthetics, you're going to get one scary, hairy monster.Even thought I'm excited for Universal's period piece horror flick, also starring Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt, I'm still questioning the ensemble of the man. I would have loved to have been in the design meeting for this costume. I imagine it went a little something like this: "Nooo he doesn't look like he's struggling with his inner pain enough." "Well, what about a vest?" "Perfect - let's get lunch!" Preorder your $18 wolf figurine at Mezco. The Wolf Man hits theaters April 3. [via Shock Til' You Drop]
