NBC's mutant superpower soap opera is getting into full swing with a meaty plot arc about stopping the Big Bad who is killing the older generation of heroes. Claire is falling in love with another teen hero who seems suspiciously evil, and last year's villain, the superpowered serial killer Sylar, is on his way back to New York with some potential allies. But none of those exciting plot developments compare to the sheer joy of watching mutant-studying scientist Suresh shacking up with psychic cop Matt, co-rearing little orphaned Molly, who can find anyone with her mind. All Suresh and Matt do is bicker about how to raise Molly, getting into heated, whispered debates that make them sound like a married couple on a freakish sitcom. When they got right up into each other's faces last night, all I wanted them to do was start making out. Maybe they will, now that Matt is about to find out more about his dad . . .
