The Black List is out! This is an annual list of the year's best unproduced screenplays — it once included Inglorious Basterds and The King's Speech. This year's list is positively stuffed with time traveling plots, alien encounters and survivalist films. We would like to call out Hibernation as a particular favorite. This is a movie that could either be the next Memento or the next Demolition Man (we're OK with either).

The list was created in 2005 by Franklin Leonard. What began as a small survey of 100 film industry development executives has grown into a black list that includes entries from 500 different development execs. The idea is to drum up attention for screenplays that didn't get off the ground this year. Let's hope 2013 is the year of time travel hijinks!
