We love Syfy’s The Expanse, based on the books series by James S.A. Corey. And now we’re so happy that there’s finally a way to stream the show before season two comes back on February 1, 2017. If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch all of season one of The Expanse right now.

And if you’re not doing that, I don’t even know what to tell you. I’ve seen all of it before and I’m still watching it again as we speak. It’s either that or spend this holiday season with my family.

In all seriousness, there’s a reason The Expanse topped our best of TV list this year: it’s got all the politics of Game of Thrones and all the questions of Westworld and almost none of either’s faults. Plus, it’s a gorgeous space-based show with truly astounding production values. There’s no reason to not at least check it out.

I was ready to give up after the first two episodes but stuck with it.

Boy, I am glad I did. This ended up being a great show. But the story was very scattershot at the very beginning and, despite being very visually appealing, really did not grab me initially.

So I would say if you watch this try to get at least three shows in before you decide whether or not to continue.
