The BBC finally has a new digital store that lets you buy and keep tons of BBC shows, past and present. Although it’s currently only available in the UK, the BBC Store has hours of BBC programming available, including a bunch of sci-fi: from Doctor Who to the 1981 classic Day of the Triffids, and more!

Yeah, I was checking this out earlier (I work in UX/eCommerce so which allows me to browse the web for inspiration). I’m quite impressed at the catalogue of programming available on the Store itself (those three series of The Fast Show are exceptionally tempting).

Now, I wonder if - by growing an additional commercial arm - the BBC will stop getting hate from The Daily Mailhaha of course not, what am I thinking?
