Do you live near a Cinemark Theater? If so, carve out some time starting Friday to take a big screen trip back through the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
August 25-31 is Marvel XD Week at select Cinemark Theaters across the country. The chain will be screening 11 of the best MCU movies in fun, unique marathons—and each movie only costs $5.
So, for example, there’s an Origins program comprised of Iron Man, Guardians, Ant-Man, and Doctor Strange, a Cosmic program of Thor, Guardians Vol. 2, Avengers, and Strange, and a Team Up program with Guardians, Civil War, and both Avengers.
You can get a full list of theaters, and schedules, at this link. But these are the movies that are part of it.
- Iron Man
- Guardians of the Galaxy
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
- Ant-Man
- Doctor Strange
- Thor
- The Avengers
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Captain America: The First Avenger
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier
- Captain America: Civil War
That means, of course, that these films are NOT part of it.
- The Incredible Hulk
- Iron Man 2
- Iron Man 3
- Thor: The Dark World
- Spider-Man: Homecoming
If we’re being honest, it makes sense. If this was a schoolyard selection of Marvel movies, save for Homecoming (which is still in its initial run), these might be the final four picked. Again, for theaters and a schedule, visit this link.

Does anyone at this point remember that there was a Hulk movie with Edward Norton in it?
