Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Speaking to the AP, J.J. Abrams briefly touches on why Luke Skywalker has yet to be fully seen in the trailers for the movie:

These are good questions to be asking! I can’t wait for you to find out the answer. It’s no accident.

Ghostbusters

Kristen Wiig discusses the reaction to the film:

And the fact there was so much controversy because we were women was surprising to me. Some people said some really not nice things about the fact that there were women. It didn’t make me mad, it just really bummed me out. We’re really honoring those movies.

The Walking Dead

Fans speculating as to whether or not major character Glenn really perished at the hands of a ravenous horde of Zombies in this past weekend’s episode have turned to some behind-the-scenes images that may prove that Steven Yeun’s character lived to fight another day.

The pictures, several months old, come from ET Online (warning: Autoplaying video at the link), and show what appears to be Walking Dead comic character Paul “Jesus” Monroe in scenes being filmed for later on in the sixth season—with the unnamed actor playing Monroe flanked by Daryl, Maggie, Abraham... and Glenn. Considering Monroe has yet to appear on the show, it would appear that Glen did indeed survive his encounter with the zombie herd.

From Dusk Till Dawn

Good news: Miramax have confirmed the show will return for a third season.

Supernatural

Teach Grant will guest star in Wednesday’s episode, “Baby”. Grant will play Deputy Donnelly, with no further details about his character disclosed.

Supergirl

Henry Czerny has been cast as the DC villain Toyman in the show—although the show has cast Jeremy Jordan as Winn Schott, a confidante and close friend of Kara (and the name of Toyman in the comics), Czerny will play Winslow Schott Sr., Winn’s father. Schott will “weaponize toys to wreak destruction and revenge but is ultimately driven by one thing — the obsessive desire to reunite with his beloved son.” In the comics, of course, the Toyman killed the son of Calista Flockhart’s character, Cat Grant. Arrow

In an extensive article over at Collider, the cast and crew reveal a few details about what’s to come on the show’s fourth season:

- Stephen [Amell] confirmed that Felicity’s engagement ring is coming back into play this season, though Emily [Bett Rickards] said she hasn’t officially seen it yet (or tried it on).

- Ray Palmer’s (Brandon Routh) return will cause some of Felicity’s neurotic tendencies to flare up, and it will also lead to some tension between her and Oliver. But, she has Curtis now to help her out, and he will be actively helping her look for Ray.

- Stephen teased the scope of the crossover by saying that at one point, there are nine super-powered people in one scene.

- As far as the return of Constantine goes, Stephen said it was a “nice ending” for him (no word on whether he might be back later, though).

The Flash

Danielle Panabaker says she’ll spend some onscreen time with Grodd this season:

I think in season one you got to see just a tiny bit of her relationship with Grodd,” she said. “You’ll get to see a little bit more of that and understand their connection from before [in season 2]. He’s got some unfinished business with her, I’d say.
