Spider-Man

JK Simmons won’t say no to reprising his iconic role as J. Jonah Jameson from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies (somehow):

Doing those movies with Sam was one of the great joys of my career. It was a super fun character so I — I’ll never close the door on anything.

Batman v Superman

Ratings information for the film’s Indian classification reveals there is an extremely minor (minor enough that it is not mentioned in the US classification) shot of a “fleeting nude” figure at some point in the film. [Comicbook.com]

Captain America: Civil War

A new report from Birth Movies Death based on reactions from recent screenings from the movie is full of praise. Most notably, it remarks that the final half hour of the film is “brutal, both physically and emotionally” and an “emotional horror movie” due to the way it handles the moral debate between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.

The Walking Dead

Following recent interviews claiming Negan wouldn’t appear in the show until the current season’s finale, Showrunner Scott Gimple teases that Negan’s first appearance might occur well before that:

There have been articles pinpointing exactly when Negan shows up, and that’s a bit disappointing, because they may not be entirely true. There’s kind of a build up. But you might even see him next episode. Absolutely. Well, sort of. Well, definitely. Well, maybe. Maybe not. But possibly.

Agent Carter

Hayley Atwell remains hopeful that the show will return for a third season, and also uncertain as to whether she can contemplate leaving the character after the end of season two last night. And she reiterates that her new role in a legal thriller, Conviction, doesn’t preclude her returning to Agent Carter.

It’s something I’ve tried not to entertain too much. There is a chance, from what I know, if both shows get picked up, I’ll be doing both. Until I know one way or the other, I can’t jump for joy or grieve.

The X-Files

Chris Carter defends the event season’s controversial cliffhanger ending:

The X-Files has always ended on a cliffhanger. We never knew if there would be more episodes. So it’s no different than The X-Files ever was. If hardcore fans took it into consideration, it actually suggests that there will be more X-Files episodes, and it sets it up for more X-Files episodes. If everything had been resolved, it might have been the end of The X-Files. So take your pick.
