Broadcast tonight as part of the BBC’s annual fundraising event for Children In Need, the clip is our first really extended look—beyond what was revealed at New York Comic-Con—at what is going to be our first proper episode of Doctor Who all year.

We knew the theme of this story was going to be about bringing our current obsession with superheroes into the world of Doctor Who, but the clip is a bit more James Bond than it is Superman, at least at first—with the Doctor and friends infiltrating a shadow organization, only to be saved by... well, Doctor Who’s answer to Superman (played by Justin Chatwin).

Known only as the Ghost, he’s pretty much Superman in all but name, right down to the ol’ “pinging bullets off my chest” routine. But it’s a fun pastiche for Doctor Who to try and tackle, nonetheless.
