Long before Angelina Jolie was starring in Maleficent — even before Hackers — she played a killer cyborg in the movie Cyborg 2. And she recently told an interviewer that watching this scene, in which her cyborg character had her head removed, made her feel "really ill" and puke.
Personally, I love the part where Ms. Chen tells Angelina her name is tea and asks if Angelina would like some cream with her Ms. Chen. It's the sort of wacky linguistic trickery you might actually use to calibrate an android.
She told an interviewer that watching Cyborg 2 made the teenage Angelina feel ill:
Oh, I threw up. I did. I saw it and I threw up. Just nausea ... But I was 17 and I think I thought I was making a real movie, which is odd, since there's a scene when I'm decapitated and talking — as one does. But, yeah, I saw it and got really sick. I just remember my brother Jamie holding me and saying, 'It's going to be all right.'
