Yesterday, director David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) posted a peek at himself and his haunted-doll star on the set of the James Wan-produced Annabelle 2, the sequel to the hit that was spun off Wan’s The Conjuring. Today, we got the first teaser, in which Miranda Otto discovers a creepy li’l tea party. See both below.
Here’s the description of Annabelle 2:
Several years after the tragic death of their little girl, a dollmaker and his wife welcome a nun and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home, soon becoming the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Any ties to the first Annabelle, or to the Warrens—the Conjuring characters who keep the doll in their haunted-objects museum—remain unclear. But the real question is: What is it with Wan movies and nuns? We’ll find out more in May 2017, when Annabelle 2 is released.
