Yesterday brought us a slew of TV ads for movies. And most of them had at least some thrilling new footage, that gave us our first look at some major scenes. Here’s what we learned about Civil War, Deadpool, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and X-Men: Apocalypse!

The X-Men: Apocalypse Super Bowl spot really focuses on the “apocalypse” part of the title. Both the character and the general levels of destruction the X-Men are totally failing to prevent.
Apocalypse is weird. He’s arguably the X-Men’s most powerful foe, but he’s not the most famous; he has a generic name, hard-to-defined powers, and his motives change a lot.
