Today is Friday the 13th, a name shared with one of horror’s most stories franchises. And while many films in the series rightfully get celebrated or eviscerated, one that’s often overlooked is 2002's Jason X, the movie where producers finally said, “Screw it. Let’s put Jason in space.” It’s definitely dumb, but over…

In Hollywood, a lot of great ideas never make it to the big screen. (See: Jodorowsky’s Dune, then shake fist at sky, screaming “Whyyy?”) Slasher movie fans will be especially disappointed to hear about a never-made new Friday the 13th film that—unlike most other horror reboots—actually sounds cool as hell.
Jason Voorhees may have met his match. It’s the number 13. It’s been six years since the twelfth Friday the 13th film came out—and the forthcoming 13th sequel just got hit with another string of setbacks.

Part of what makes the Friday the 13th franchise so much fun is the absurdity of Jason Voorhees as a killer. He’s an impossibility, which makes him scary, but now The CW is developing a new TV show that will most likely change that by grounding him in reality.
There’ll be more Twin Peaks than we previously thought, too. The star of Jem and the Holograms discusses reactions to the trailer. What are the differences between the final Ant-Man script and Edgar Wright’s original draft? Plus, a crazy casting rumor for the Static Shock web series. To me, my Spoilers!
Lex Luthor might be wearing a familiar outfit in Batman v. Superman. The next Mad Max movie already has a title. Check out a clip from tonight’s Flash finale. Plus a set video from Suicide Squad, and teasers for what’s next on Orphan Black and iZombie. So many spoilers!
The Friday the 13th reboot is still set to film later this year, but first it's getting an all-new draft from an exciting source. Now we know when we'll learn the truth about Peter Quill's father. Peter Mayhew makes bold claims about Star Wars: Episode VII. The premiere of Agents of SHIELD will bring back a old foe. And 12 Monkeys, The Flash, and Bitten all add new characters and cast. Spoilers now!
