Here's one of the most inventive methods of killing a guy ever shown on screen. Dean Cain is cornered by two guys with machine guns, and he's out of bullets. (They don't know this.) So he waits for one of them to go through the safety door, and sets a cunning trap. Spoilers ahead...
We all know that Superman's powers include super-hypnosis... but it turns out he's highly susceptible to hypnosis himself. All you have to do is dangle a watch in the big guy's face and he becomes yours to command. At least, judging from this Lois and Clark episode.
Say what you want about Roland Emmerich. He'd have to work pretty hard to make a disaster movie as ludicrous (and as ridiculous-looking) as the 2006 miniseries 10.5: Apocalypse. Check out these wonderfully bad special effects, where a couple on a ski-lift get caught by a sudden volcanic eruption!
Truly there are no words to describe the beauty of this scene from Miracle Beach, in which a beach bum (Dean Cameron) discovers that his newfound genie companion cannot use her magic to make a supermodel fall in love with him. But she can make him invincible at volleyball.
Welcome to Dean Cain week, when we'll be posting a new Dean Cain clip, every single day! Today's outing is Futuresport, a 1998 TV movie (with a surprising amount of cussing and nudity on the DVD) about the most futuristic sport ever: Futuresport!
