Avengers: Age Of Ultron

Mark Ruffalo spoke to Empire about where Bruce Banner is going into the events of the movie:

I think he's definitely matured a little bit since the last one. He's become more acclimated to this thing and to being part of the team. I think he feels more a part of them all. But in this particular take on it, it's a much more character-driven version of The Avengers than the first one. It gets a little deeper into each character. S.H.I.E.L.D. is not happening anymore, so there's not that much time spent with the S.H.I.E.L.D. stuff. I feel that every character has their own cool little thing happening. I had great stuff in the last one but there's even more stuff in this one. It's nice, because I know this character now after playing him twice…

But interestingly, he also hints that the possibility of the Hulk getting his own solo film is still open, despite Kevin Feige referring to the character as one saved for team-up films:

Who knows, really? [A Hulk Movie is] such an amorphous thing. Nobody has talked to me about that yet. It seems people want it, but it's tough. They've already done two of 'em, and they've only done two Thors, they had a nice run on Iron Man. I feel like they have their plates full. There's probably other people they're keen on doing but I think people have shown that they're ready to see another one.

Much, much more at the link. [ Empire]

Deadpool

Colossus may be in the film, but he won't be played by Daniel Cudmore — the actor took to twitter to announce he would not reprise the role, so it will presumably be recast. [/Film]

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Samuel L. Jackson's movie contract with Marvel is almost up, but he's optimistic that it will be extended:

I'm totally cool doing Nick Fury as long as they keep writing him in these films, or whatever he's doing.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Making Star Wars is back with yet another rumor, this time with an alleged description of a scene shot at Pinewood Studios involving Han Solo sacrificing himself to allow his friends to escape from Kylo Ren. Pretty much as usual with every rumor coming out of the film, it's best to take this with a pinch of salt, but it's hard to deny that Episode VII might be Solo's last - it's long been known that Harrison Ford was very keen on the idea of Han dying in first The Empire Strikes Back, and then Return of the Jedi. Maybe Ford finally got his wish for the next film. [via Inquisitr]

This one is less of a spoiler, more of a PSA - a lot of folks are taking a quote from Mark Hamill in a recent interview with the Schmoes Knows podcast as indication that he's debunking all the rumors that Luke Skywalker will turn to the dark side in the new movie. But here's the actual quote:

Well, part of the answer to that question involves what I thought of the script to my final chapter, which really surprised me. The way Episode — I get the numbers mixed up, but the middle one for us — indicated that Luke would be terribly conflicted, and possibly be giving in to his darker impulses to achieve short term goals. Now I had no question that he would redeem himself at the very end, but I thought, as dangerous as Empire [Strikes Back] was, that George [Lucas] would go in the direction of me betraying someone, before I realized the error of my ways, Ebenezer Scrooge style. So I was enormously misled. I mean, I was completely wrong on that assumption, and it took me a very long time to reconcile my opinions about the material and how it should be dealt with, and what the reality was. It wasn't an easy journey for me.

Hamill isn't talking about The Force Awakens at all, he's discussing what he thought would happen to Luke going into Return of the Jedi. Luke could still turn to the Dark Side in the next film, this quote doesn't say anything about it either way — so don't believe it if you read this common rumor as having been debunked. Ghostbusters Reboot

Agent Carter

Enver Gjokaj sat down with Comic Book Resources to discuss Sousa going into the finale, but also offered this tidbit on whether Daniel will become the husband Peggy referred to in archival footage from The Winter Soldier:

Viewers have speculated that Daniel is "that guy" who marries Peggy. Is that something you've entertained or discussed with Hayley Atwell?

Yeah, sure. We've asked that very same question to each other, with no more information than the fans have. One of the things that I really love about "Agent Carter" is it's not a show where she's defined by her relationship to a guy. I have no idea where this is going to go, but I love that it's something they don't have her too concerned about. This isn't a show about a girl pining away for a guy. This is a show where the guy pines away for the girl. That's really cool to me.

Supernatural

Here's Mark Sheppard on how the presence of Rowena on the show has affected Crowley:

Can you talk a little bit about how Rowena has hexed him and manipulated him. How much is he aware of what she's doing? Or does he just have inklings that something's not quite right?

Do you think of Crowley as a person who doesn't know what's going on? I don't. I think Crowley is very aware of everything around him. I think Crowley will always do what suits Crowley. Distractions can always be dangerous. There's other things going on and I don't think Rowena's exactly declared what she actually wants at this point.

It's fascinating I think for Crowley while he's dealing with the issue that his mom has shown up, plus he's dealing with the stuff with Dean. And now he's dealing with the stuff with Cain. And he's dealing with his feelings such as they are that we just discussed since the human experiment at the end of Season 8. There's a lot going on and there's a lot to do. You just have to remember that Crowley believes that Crowley has a handle on everything whether he does or he doesn't.

The Flash

Robbie Amell offers a taste of what's in store for Ronnie Raymond and Firestorm on the show, as well as a hint that the series will start sowing the seeds for Caitlin Snow to become Killer Frost:

Now that Firestorm is part of the Flash universe, would you like any his foes to pop up? Killer Frost? Hyena? Black Bison?

They are definitely talking about Killer Frost, and I know Danielle is excited about that. It would be fun to turn your fiancée into your enemy. We could have a great time with that. I think that's a little ways down the road. There are a lot of big Flash villains introduced already. Like everything else, you need to work for it. You need to earn it. I am excited for Danielle, though. I think there's a tease coming in the next few episodes for Killer Frost.

iZombie

Rose McIver talks about Liv's relationship with fellow zombies on the series:

Do the zombies socialize with one another?

Yes, very much so! Initially, Liv doesn't have other zombie friends or have any relationships with any other zombies, so she doesn't. She socializes with her family and friends with her big secret being kept and not being able to really connect with them. But very early on, I think an episode after what you guys have been given, she actually meets a gentleman-caller zombie. So they're able to — I can't tell you yet. You're going to have to watch.

Arrow

Marc Guggenheim confirmed that The Huntress won't appear in season 3 of the show, citing time issues, but she does appear in the tie in 'Season 2.5 comic'. He also hinted that she may appear in the fourth season. [ Spoiler TV]

The Originals

Michael Narducci discusses Daniel Sharman's exit from the show:

I can't speak highly enough of Daniel's presence on set and his preparation and hard work, particularly for this episode. He's just an incredible actor who did so much for this role. We're sad to see him go. But at the same time, the Kol, in his hands, has evolved. We've seen Kol as a witch, and through Nathaniel Buzolic, we saw Kol as a vampire.

Now, in the wake of this departure, Rebekah [Maisie Richardson-Sellers] and Davina are both going to have an opinion about Kol's death. In the past, we've seen witches die and come back, like Davina or Papa Tunde or Bastiana or Genevieve. Is there a possibility that we haven't seen the last of Kol Mikaelson? That's a pretty interesting question. We certainly haven't seen the dlast of flashbacks that deal with Kol and his story and his family. In those ways, fans of Kol can rest assured that his story on The Originals is long from finished.

Game Of Thrones

Sophie Turner offers her thoughts on the often-asked question of whether the show will finish off in a big screen climax:

It was a huge success in IMAX - but I think the reason it was a success is because it's a TV show, and because it's the first TV show to be done in IMAX." She added: "It's just so magnificent - the Battle of Blackwater was incredible on IMAX - and so I don't know if they would do a movie.

I know there's been rumours going round in the press [about a feature film] - but for now, I'm very much content with it being a TV show in IMAX. I think that's an achievement in itself; so why fix it if it ain't broke?

Dominion

Simon Merrels has been cast in Syfy's post-apocalyptic series about Angels fighting humanity. For an eight-episode arc on the show, Merrels will play the 'cunning' Julian, the leader of New Delphi and a man willing to 'go to any lengths to protect his city'. [Deadline]

Forever

Ioan Gruffudd talks Henry's love life and potential romance with Jo:

"Personally, I don't think it will work," Gruffudd counters. "But I'm saying it now in the middle of the first season. I'm sure people who watched Castle always wanted them to get together and now that they are together, the show is just as successful as when they weren't together."

However, Gruffudd acknowledges that if Henry and Jo were ever to work as a couple, they first would have to deal with the other elephant in the room: Henry's immortality. "I'm sure we could have a lot of fun with it, them being together, without Henry having to reveal his secret," Gruffudd says. "But how long could we sustain that without sort of hating Henry for not confessing to her?"
