The latest trailer for the movie version of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is chock full of pride, prejudice, and yes, zombies. But it also has Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey in an eyepatch.
This isn’t the first we’ve seen of the literary/zombie mashup but it does a bit of a better job at setting up the premise—well, as much as it actually needs setting up. It’s literally all there in the title, and there’s not much else to it, as was the case with Seth Grahame-Smith’s original adaptation of the Austen classic.
We do at least, this time, get to see some of Charles Dance, Matt Smith, and Lena Headey, who were largely absent from the first teaser, but aside from that, it’s all social upheaval, the woman’s place in society, and zombies. You know, classic Jane Austen stuff.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will be out February 5, 2016.
