Folks who are in the Bay Area tonight can stop by San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum, where artist J.H. Williams III will be talking about Sandman: Overture and offering a sneak peek at the second issue.
The Cartoon Art Museum has been running its 25th anniversary celebration of Neil Gaiman's comic series Sandman since October, and the exhibition will continue through April 27th. Williams will be at the museum from 7pm to 9pm tonight to discuss his process and experiences from working on Sandman. Tickets are $15 and available in advance. Even if you can't make tonight's event, be sure to pop on by the museum some time in the next few weeks to check out the exhibit—as well as the current exhibits featuring Steve Purcell's Sam & Max artwork and Ronald Searle's cartoons and illustrations.
