Loud and clear.AdvertisementAhead of tomorrow’s big game, Sony has released the TV spot for is intense looking new scifi horror movie Life, about the crew of the International Space Station discovering a new form of Martian life... a discovery that quickly goes horribly, horribly poorly for the crew. The footage is mostly from the first trailer we got back in October last year, but there are a few new shots here, from after the alien lifeform unleashes itself upon the crew. We get a shot of what actually appears to be a fully evolved form of the lifeform menacing Hiroyuki Sanada’s character, and it looks like a weird, chitinous snake. Then, for the climax of the spot, we get Gyllenhaal’s astronaut emitting a horrendous, wailing shriek as something presumably terrifying occurs off camera. It’s really rather disconcerting. Life, originally planned for a Memorial Day release, will now hit theaters March 24.More Super Bowl Teases Than You Can Shake a Football AtOur First Look at Stranger Things Season Two Is Just Gosh Darn Adorable The First Trailer for Life Promises a Tense Scifi Horror Story Sir Anthony Hopkins Knows the Transformers' Secrets in New The Last Knight Footage (UPDATED)James Whitbrookjames.email@example.com@JWhitbrookJames is a staff writer for io9.
