Avengers: Infinity War
Stan Lee teased to Gamezone that “a major new character will appear in Infinity War” before “his assistant whispered in his ear and told him he can’t discuss it in-depth.” That’s vague enough it could quite literally be any one—and bear in mind that this is Stan Lee hyping it up rather than anything super substantial—but feel free to begin speculating wildly in the comments below.
Deadline reports that James Wan will produce the Resident Evil reboot, while George Russo has written the screenplay.
The Maze Runner: The Death Cure
Kaya Scodelario says the latest Maze Runner film will neatly wrap up the trilogy:
Yeah. We just wrapped filming. And I think we are really saying a great goodbye to these characters and we are tying up all the loose ends. This is a rescue mission movie. They want to catch Minho. They are breaking into W.C.K.D and we are kind of trying to understand the decision Teresa did in the last movie. That she is not just a betrayer.

Here’s another trailer for the upcoming Monkey’s Paw-inspired horror film.
Penn Jillette revealed on his podcast that season four will feature a story based on his own experiences staying in a Spanish welfare hospital in 1981.
During that time, I got this idea for this short story called “the Pain Addict.” I was postulating a future where you could put a gizmo on your head and feel someone else’s pain. So there would be doctors whose whole job it was to feel pain and say “His left arm is broken. That’s not actually appendicitis, that’s a cancer thing.” They felt every pain. Like prizefighters and childbirth and child cancer. And this guy gets addicted to it and starts beating people to feel their pain. He also goes through S&M and all he wants to do is jack into Jesus on the cross. He wants to feel that pain. I wrote this story. It was the first story I wrote when I got a computer. When we did Penn and Teller’s first book, we had short stories in it. I submitted this and the editor said “That’s too dark.” I’ve been trying to find a place for this story, which I thought was really good. I tried to write a comic book and they said no. I pitched it as a movie and they said no. So I told Charlie Brooker all of this and he said “Oh, pain addict. That’s good.”
Iron Fist/The Defenders
During a recent panel at Comicpalooza 2017, Finn Jones stated you can expect the classic Iron Fist costume to appear in season two.
I think moving forward to Season 2, we’ll see something like that [the classic costume]. Personally I hope we get the wispy kind of ripples at the back of the mask. That’s a super cool effect. I think it would actually be annoying, the logistics of it but I think it would look really cool.
At the same event, Jones teased the legendary meeting of Power Man & Iron Fist:
It’s really interesting how we meet the first time. Without spoiling too much, at first we don’t see eye to eye. We come from very different backgrounds. And we kind of question each other’s ethics especially Luke to Danny. Danny is super hot-headed. Always the first to jump the gun and be very reckless. And Luke is kind of there to settle me down a little bit. So I kind of see Luke as the coach to Danny.
