Jurassic Park 4 finally has a director, Colin Trevorrow. You may remember him from the indie picture Safety Not Guaranteed, which is kind of short on its T-Rex-fighting-humans moments. But maybe that's a good thing?
Yes, the director who built a full-length (and fairly touching) movie around the famous 1997 time-travel-themed "help wanted" ad, has been given the task of rescuing the Jurassic Park franchise. Trevorrow may not know dinosaurs, but he definitely knows humans. Plus he'll have Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall as producers, and a script from Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes scribes Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. Not bad. Not bad at all. Fingers crossed for this one, everyone. [via Deadline]
