The Flash

Speaking at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest, Robbie Amell teased a murderous bent to his incoming return as the Ronnie Raymond of Earth-2:

In episode 13, so in a couple weeks, you’ll see me as Deathstorm, and Caitlin as Killer Frost. So I get to come back, and I kill a series regular. So there’s that, I’m probably going to get in trouble for saying that

Presumably, the character Raymond ends up killing is the Earth-2 incarnation of a major cast member, rather than an actual main cast member. But maybe not! [Comicbook.com]

On his Fatman on Batman podcast, Kevin Smith claims that a piece cut from the recent TV special teasing the DC Cinematic Universe saw Geoff Johns acknowledge that DC are leaving teasers to connect their TV series to the movies as part of the comics’ multiverse concept:

We did a piece where we talked about—I don’t know how much I’m supposed to say because they cut it out. But the idea [came up] of, ‘Hey man, DC is known for nothing if not a multiverse,’ so at which point I was like [to Johns], ‘Could they fucking crossover?’ And he was like, ‘Ahh.’ So doors are being left open and stuff like that.

Veronica Mars

Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas are still looking for a way to bring the cult teen noir series back, according to the actor:

We’ve ping-ponged other ideas but it always comes back to ‘Veronica Mars’ because it’s so special to the both of us and in truth, because it’s so beloved by fans. The whole reason to create something is so people will love it and we have the best fans on the planet so we’re definitely still looking for the window where we could allow Veronica to exist again, whether it’s a miniseries or a short-run cable series.

Definitely tune in...We are very excited about this character. He does have a connection to Felicity. We’re just really thrilled. Tom Amandes has been amazing in the role and is bringing a lot of kindness and a lot of malice to this character.

Supergirl

Director Glen Winter says his Martian Manhunter episode will make you cry:

It’s an amazing episode. It delves into Martian Manhunter’s history, and where he came from. Someone from his past comes back to see him. David Harewood gives an emotional, nuanced performance. You can expect to cry. It’s beautiful. [Audiences] can expect some amazing action.
