Dragon*Con is known as the convention with the very best cosplay anywhere, and this year's batch did not disappoint. From the super obscure (Thumbelina in her Beetle ballgown) to the exceptionally timely (NASA Mohawk Guy) check out our picks for the best of the best of Dragon*Con cosplay. Including a walking Serenity ship, and this adorable wedding shot.

First up, this original post of a Dragon*Con wedding comes from Redditor VeganDread. According to another Reddit user claiming to be one half of this handsome couple (named GreenArrowFL):

"That's me and my bf of 20 years. We are in fact re-enacting a scene in Astonishing X-Men No. 51 at the Marvel Comics photo shoot at Dragon*Con this past Sunday. Not intended to be a spot-on reproduction of the cover; the tuxes inside the comic actually are both black just like this. Beast was supposed to officiate, but we settled for Old Man Logan. :)"

Congratulations to the happy couple! What an amazing wedding shot — here's the image in higher resolution.

Need more proof that Dragon*Con has the best cosplay ever? How about the Commander Shepard cosplaying as Commander Shepard. Yep that's Mark Meer (the voice of Shepard) in full Mass Effect gear. The commentary on this video is amazing.
