Watchmen's Malin Akerman and 127 Hours co-star Kate Mara responded to the rumors that they're up for a role in Zack Snyder's reboot. Mara said she hasn't even seen a script for it, although she also pointed out that even if she had, she probably couldn't admit to it. Either way, both Mara and Akerman said they would jump at the chance to be in the movie, but that's all they can say about it. [MTV Splash Page]
The Dark Knight Rises
We were sent this photo of what certainly appears to be Christopher Nolan in Pittsburgh. This might tie in with the earlier rumors that The Dark Knight Rises is shooting scenes in Pittsburgh, in which case this is some sort of location scouting...or it might not. Either way, thanks to Mitchell and Justin for the tip!
Battle: Los Angeles
Noel Fisher, who plays one of the marines in the movie, explains how the film's boot camp-like training experience helped him with the role:
There's a couple of things, basically, in terms of knowing how to handle weapons. They taught us a lot of assault tactics, room clearing, close quarter combat - stuff that is just really helpful when we're setting up a scene really quickly. Because Jonathan [Liebesman] shot this in very kind of documentary style, it took a lot of everyone knowing what they're supposed to do. And basically it just helped a lot because if we were getting attacked from the left, we knew exactly what we were supposed to do. Do we assault through? All these different kind of tactics that they taught us."
Also, the other main thing that was really helpful was that we got to spend three weeks becoming kind of a family, and that was really unique to this movie for me. The level of friendship that came out of this boot camp and this very physically demanding shoot was just really, really special. I think that that's a really big bonus and it comes through [on screen], I think, because that's what platoons are. These are your brothers and your sisters, and I think that was really helpful creating that."

CHUCK AND SARAH PLAN THE ULTIMATE HEIST AT A HIGH-SECURITY BANK-LAUREN COHAN AND RAY WISE GUEST STAR-Chuck (Zachary Levi) pushes Vivian McArthur (guest star Lauren Cohan) to get in touch with her inner villain for a mission. Elsewhere, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) tries to get in touch with her inner bride as wedding plans ramp up. Meanwhile, Morgan's (Joshua Gomez) search for a new roommate takes an unexpected turn.
Yvonne Strahovski explains how Sarah has changed and what she would like to see in the run-up to her wedding:
"I think she's come a long way from the first season until now, but she still has a bit of a journey. I think she still has some work to do to become as comfortable as possible with the life with Chuck and living with him. would like to see some family stuff [be explored]. We don't know what's going to happen with the wedding or who's going to come back…[and we did] meet some girls from Sarah's past, which is fun, but I would love to look into the whole dad thing again and see what happened with the mom. I think a part of her has been wanting [a family] for a long time, and even though she doesn't know what it feels like, it seems that she does want a sense of security, and she's found that in Chuck. She treasures it, even though there are still things surrounding that relationship that can still make her uncomfortable."
And here's a short synopsis for the next episode after that, "Chuck vs. the A-Team."
Chuck and Sarah suspect Casey is carrying out private missions; Chuck fears the CIA's new operatives will render him obsolete; Morgan settles in with a new roommate; Awesome becomes uncomfortable with Ellie's research.
