How will the mighty Thor's big movie adventure launch, and what horrible foe will he have to face? Find out with the first details of Marvel's Thor script, and the first picture of the Destroyer. Update: The script ain't real.
In other Thor news, Comic Book Movies has read the opening scene from the movie's script, and here's the gist.
The film begins with a "booming" voiceover, describing the many planets of Thor's realm. The three Norse spirits narrate each planet as it comes into focus, along with important characters like Ymir the Frost Giant. After sweeping over many planets, the camera finally focuses in on Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Gaea giving birth to baby Thor. Cut to black, and then an older Thor (Chris Hemsworth), his adopted brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Fandral (Joshua Dallas), Hogun (Tadanobu Asano), Volstagg (Ray Stevenson) and Balder are all riding their horses.
They have been tasked on a mission to find Ivaldi, the Dwarf king of Svartalfheim. As they ride to the passageway between realms, we see a giant forge and three blacksmiths at work. They are creating the mighty Mjolnir, to present to Thor upon his arrival...

Update: We're hearing that this isn't the real script — either it's an old draft that someone got their hands on, or just not the real thing at all.
Here's the movie's official synopsis:
This epic adventure spans the Marvel Universe; from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is The Mighty Thor, a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.
Thor will be released in theaters May 6th, 2011.
