Forget 3-D, the Koreans are taking the Avatar viewing experience all the way to 4-D. Which means you'll actually get to feel the spittle from a wild banshee hit your cheek, mid-scream.
According to the Post Chronicle Korea's Seoul Theater has lined up 25 different special effects to give audiences the full 4-D experience:
The 4D seats in the theater are movie-activated. When there is a scene with sprinkling water, you'll feel real sprinkling water hit you, and when there are explosives, you will be able to smell them.
This isn't the first 4-D experience for Korea, the theater has been throwing water in the audience's faces since Journey to the Center of the Earth. And plan on doing the same thing for Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
