Always wanted to write a science fiction story about a troubled superhero that was 250 words or less? Now the Hilobrow scifi micro fiction contest challenges you to do it!
io9 contributor Joshua Glenn is also the editor of Hilobrow, a magazine that's packed with cool essays about culture and ideas, with a pretty big science fictional streak. Now they're publishing SF stories, and are having a contest to pick the best micro fiction. One of the judges is awesome SF writer De Abaitua, whose novel The Red Men we reviewed back in 2007 (yes, that was technically before io9 launched, because we can travel through time).
