J.C. Hutchins, scifi podcaster and author of forthcoming novel 7th Son, has released a series of 13 cool posters to go with his latest web project, a collectively-authored story about a catastrophic blackout in the United States called Obsidian. I love this poster (you can see it in full glory below), because it could almost be a real advisory in a national emergency.

With the muck of Hurricane Katrina still fresh in many people's minds in the U.S., Hutchins and pals' speculative tale of a country turned upsidown by a weeks-long power outage rings all too true. You can see all thirteen posters here, and find out more about Obsidian here. Start hoarding batteries and candles.
